This one’s been brewing for a while.

Chris (Happy Valley Vinyl & Bookstore- Collingwood) and Jono (Wide Open Rd) go way back — all the way to the late ‘90s. Before coffee roasting, before cafes, before Happy Valley was even an idea. Chris was running Polyester Records and his indie label Candle Records out of North Fitzroy. Jono was making film clips for some of the bands on the label.

It was a scene — late nights, live sets, a community built on music and DIY energy. Now, years later, they’ve come together again. This time, over coffee.

Self-Titled is the result. A limited release espresso blend that’s smooth, balanced, and just a little nostalgic. The kind of coffee you want to keep coming back to.

If you love vinyl, small-batch things, and coffees that taste like someone cared — this one’s for you. Works just as well on a home espresso machine as it does in a plunger. Self-Titled is made to be drunk on repeat.
